Our Executive Chef Juan Bochenski is in charge of all of our restaurants at Anse Chastanet and Jade Mountain. Together with our consulting Chef Allen Susser and our resorts’ culinary teams, Juan ensures that our kitchens receive and use best possible produce only with emphasis on supporting our local farmers and shermen to the extent possible. He is in daily contact with our own organic farm Emerald’s and oversees the deliveries of micro greens, herbs, fruits and vegetables from the farm which supplement what we get from our island farmers. Each of our restaurants follows their own culinary strategy, with menus ranging from vegetarian, modern Caribbean to East-Indian- Caribbean fusion and in all instances Juan and his chefs focus on an innovative approach and on letting local avors shine through.

Juan was born and grew up in Buenos Aires, Argentina. After receiving his formal qualifications, Juan trained at Chez Nico in London, La Taillevent, France and the Marque and Four in Hand Bistro in Australia. Juan also worked in a number of resorts and restaurants in Europe, Australia, USA and the Caribbean, including Jumby Bay in Antigua, Cap Juluca in Anguilla and most recently the Fairmont Empress Hotel in Victoria, British Columbia.
