CHTA EDUCATION FOUNDATION AND JADE MOUNTAIN SUPPORT HOSPITALITY EDUCATION

Luxury Resort in St. Lucia Steps Up to the Plate with a 5-night Raffle Win

The Caribbean Hotel and Tourism Association Education Foundation (CHTAEF) has once again partnered with Saint Lucia’s Jade Mountain Resort in its ongoing efforts to further Caribbean hospitality professionals’ careers. Jade Mountain’s previous collaboration was a resounding success and in this new collaboration, the resort is offering a 5-night stay in a Sun Infinity Pool Sanctuary with breakfast and dinner included. The foundation’s fundraising has been supporting training and education initiatives for hospitality professionals in the region since 1986. By purchasing a raffle ticket, you will help us to provide scholarships and training to Caribbean hospitality professionals and students so that they can become the tourism leaders of the future.  “We were delighted to keep the momentum going and continue to set an example by offering some enticing prizes,” says Karolin Troubetzkoy, Executive Director of Marketing at Jade Mountain as well as the foundation’s chair. “There are more raffles in the pipeline from some amazing resorts in the region, stay tuned for more auction announcements.”

Raffle tickets for the Jade Mountain prize draw begin at US$100 for 10 entries, $140 for 15, and $175 for 20 entries. The approximate value of this prize is US$14,500. The drawing closes on Sunday, August 15. To participate, visit  https://go.eventgroovefundraising.com/2021-jademountain/

CHTAEF invests all proceeds supporting scholars in accredited academic programs in the US, Europe, and the Caribbean to develop the next generation of Caribbean tourism success stories while creating programs for current industry staff and managers which energize and elevate their professional development and growth. Funds raised by the foundation helped train more than 750 hospitality staff in 2019 and have provided more than 80 scholarships in the past five years. The hospitality industry is critical for the Caribbean, drawing millions of visitors every year and creating more employment, advancement opportunities, and earnings than any other industry in the region. CHTAEF training programs and scholarships help to empower staff and provide opportunities for advancement for the hardworking staff upon whom the industry relies.
